Phileas Fogg is a very careful man. He trusts mathematics. He likes his routine. He is a rich man. He makes a bet. He bets his friends £20,000 he can go around the world in eighty days.
The Bank of England has just been robbed. Mr. Fogg leaves London so quickly that it makes the police suspicious. Mr. Fogg takes half of his fortune with him to pay for the trip.
With his new servant, Passepartout, he tries to travel around the world in eighty days. Detective Fix is chasing Mr. Fogg because he believes that Mr. Fogg is the bank robber.
Fogg and Passepartout must avoid the police and not miss a train or a ship. If they do, Phileas Fogg will lose the rest of his fortune.
